I have been with my husband for 3 years and married to him for 1 1/2 years. I just met his best friend who has been over seas for a little over a year. I am attracted to his best friend. I don't know what to do about these feelings and I just want to know if this is normal in a marriage to be attracted to another man.

typically, when the honeymood period is over, many new couples can go through a phase where they obsess over what they may have passed up, such as other people. I agree that it is normal to be attracted to someone other than your husband, but it may occur a little more often at this point in your marriage than it will in the future.

Yeah it is normal to be attracted to other men when you are married, it only causes trouble when you ACT on those feelings. What you do with those feelings is put them to the back of your mind and focus on your husband and your marriage...or file for divorce.

Yeah and when you meet another guy who looks like Tom Cruise you will be asking this question again.

Once married, keep your thoughts under control, and stay faithful to your husband. Your flirting with other men is closed once you are married.

Only if there is a problem in the marriage. Ask yourself what the problem is and fix it. (Example: His friend is finding you attractive and you like the attention The Problem: You feel your husband takes you for granite)

as long as you are breathing, you will have these kind of feelings. You need to make a choice NOT to act on them. That is called being mature.

Of course it's normal but acting on them is something else.
If we all acted out what we felt all hell would break loose.

yes it is normal but that does not mean you act on it (so don't) because you are married and pledged to be faithful to your husband, as he to you.
