This happened previously also but that time after i played with the printer, somehow it started, but this time it refuses to start. I know there is no problem with the software, as the printer is not able to start to go to green light. When i switch on the printer, the green light comes, but it immediately turns to orange flashing light and then as long as the printer is on, the orange light keeps on flashing, for a moment the green light comes and then immediately it turn back to orange flashing light, something that happens when I am out of paper.
well the paper has been load properly.
But I think there is some setting of the printer which has been upset as my son keeps on touching the printer.

I have a Canon S300 and a S330 that had this problem. Its a service error. To clear this error do this.....

1) Power off printer
2) Hold RESUME button then press and hold POWER. (The beeper MAY sound once, or may not depending on your model.)
3) Hold POWER and Release RESUME.
4) Press RESUME twice then release both POWER and RESUME buttons.
5) When the indicator lights steady, press RESUME 4 times (for the S900, 3 times for the 8200 apparently).
6) Press power to set data.
7) Print away!

take the printer in front of your self grab it firmly pick it up and shake whilst saying at the same "work you useless piece of crap or you're going out the window, if it doesn't work then pick up a hammer of generous yet managable weight and proceed to smack it sound all over the casing whilst saying " you had your chance now heres the pay back you git!!!!!!!!!!!"
