Let's start out by separating the eating out components from the age components.
Let's start with x number of days eating out. (This has to be a single digit number greater than 0 to work)
Multiply that number by 2 and multiply that number by 50
x * (2*50)= 100x this essentially shifts the number of times you eat out left two spaces.
we also have to multiply the 5 that we added in step 2
5 * 50 = 250
This added to 1756 gives you the current year. (next year we will have to use 1757.)
250 + 1756 = 2006
Subtract the year you were born from the current year and you will get your age. (unless you have not had your birthday this year.)
There are several ways to do this the important thing is to have your multipliers equal one hundred when you multiply them together. Pick any number to add to it in step 2. Use step 4 for "filler"
Think of a number between 1 and 9...
multiple that by 4
Add 9
times that number by 25
add 1781 if you have had your birthday this year, add 1780 if not
Then subtract that number from the year you were born.
You end up with a three digit number
the first digit is your number the remaining two digits will be your age.

This ALMOST works, but I'll get to that.
If you eat out x times a week, then that number times 2 is 2x.
When you add 5, you then have 2x + 5
If you multiply that by 50, you have:
50( 2x + 5 ) = 100x + 250
Now when you add 1756, you get 100x + 250 + 1756 and this simplifies to 100x + 2006.
I assume your next statement meant to subtract the year you were born from that expression. If you were born in 1980, then
100x + 2006 - 1980 would give you 100x + 26. The number of times a week you eat out multiplied by 100 put that number in the hundreds column as the first digit. 2006 - your year of birth would leave your current age in the last 2 columns, IF YOU HAVE ALREADY HAD YOUR BIRTHDAY; however, if you have not had your birthday yet this year, the number in the last 2 columns will be one more than your current age.

Let x be the number of times you go out to eat a week. Then we have
x
2x
2x+5
50*(2x+5)
50*(2x+5)+1756
100x + 250 + 2006
100x + 2006
Now subtract the year you were born. Subtracting that from 2006 will obviously give your age (assuming you have already had your birthday this year). The problem doesn't have a correction if you haven't had your birthday yet this year. Suppose you were born in 1984 and have already had your birthday in 2006. Then you would be 22.
Then 100x + 2006 - 1984 = 100x + 22
If you eat out 3 times a week then x = 3
100x + 22 = 100*3 + 22 = 322
Multiplying x by 100 puts it in the 100's place. Your age is in the one's and ten's places.

fist of all it only works if its the year 2006 and you have already had your 06 birthday, or its 07 and you have not have your 07 bday.
the number you get before the +1756 always ends in 0 (because of the *50), if you add 1756 to it you will always get a number ending in 6. you will get 2006 (the year) plus the number of times you when out to eat times 100.
this table will make it more clear.
first is #, 2nd is before +1756, 3rd is after +1756
0 250 2006
1 350 2106
2 450 2206
3 550 2306
4 650 2406
notice that the last number is the year plus the number of times you when out to eat in hundreds.
all that is happening is your number times 100, plus 250. then 1756 is added to it. 1756+250=2006 (the year)
the times 100 is to put your # into the 3rd digits place, remeber the 3 diggit number you get? the number in the hundreds place is your number.
so you end up with this 2#06, well if you take the year you were born off 2006 you will get your age for this year. the equation is adding your #*100 to 2006 so you will get your number in the hundreds place and your age after that (2006 - year born)
(#*100)+(2006-year born)

Here's what I got so far...
Any number you multiply by 2 will give you a even number (2,4,6,8...) as an answer.
When you add five to the number you have a odd number (1,3,5,7...) as an answer...
When you multiply by 50.. no matter what the last two nu,ber will end with 50 (150,250,350,450...)
Then you add 1756... Every year this number need to be modified... because it represent the current year (1756=2006)
When you have added this number you get a number that is 4 digits long... (the 3rd digit is the digit you started out with... if you take this digit and replace it with zero we're back again to 2006)
Subtract the year you were born in... and there's your answer...

5 times 50 plus 1756 gives 2006. Subtracting your birth year from this number will give your birthday. 5 times 50 is 250, and if you add any go out number, it will increment this number by 100 ie 350, 450, 550. Therefore, by adding 1756 to this number, the final result will also increment by 100 with the first digit equalling the number of times you go out. next year, the number 1756 will have to change to 1757 in order to work.

let x be the number of times you eat out. 2x*50=100x, so that will be the ist digit of the 3 digit #.
5*50+1756=2006
subtract your year of birth & you get your age.
