my favorite book is the Outsiders. It was required for English 1, it turns out that my mom, sister, and myself love this book I have read it at least 100 times. It never gets old. I like all of the Harry Potter books The scarlet letter is another favorite. There is another book about a young girl who comes over on a boat to the new world she came to live with her mothers sister who is dead also her father. She is accused of witch craft in the book. oh she came from Barbados. I wish i could remember the name. it was a very good book.

I can't go with one favorite, but I think I could narrow it down to these...
1) The Ingenuity Gap by, Thomas Homer Dixon.
2) Mind Hacks by, Tom Stafford and Matt Webb.
3) Map Of Bones by James Rollins.
4) Cryptonomicron by, Neal Stephenson.
5) Neverwhere by, Neil Gaiman.
I hope you enjoy.

The best book I ever (half) read is Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. I've read it halfway several times. The last half gets tedious but really the 1st half is so GREAT!!!! It is really worth your time. It's much better than the movie. Hugo explores in depth the reasons people act the way they do and why we screw up, he also shows a lot of compassion for screwups.

Sound of the Beast by Ian Christe. It gives a complete history of heavy metal and it's honestly very informative. You will have a deeper understanding on why music today is just garbage that music companies sell to the public.

A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving. That man is a genius. You will enjoy any of his books but a Prayer for Owen Meany is absolute genius. I think they did the movie version "Simon Birch" but be sure to skip that and go straight to the book =)

Personally I like Dean Koontz. Some of his books are quite graphic but they are very hard to put down once you pick them up. These are fiction and some of them are horror/fiction but some of them will just make you cry. From the corner of his eye was one of my favorites, not to mention The house of thunder, The Face, and Intensity. I am a huge fan of reading and there are other authors that I like but he is one of my favorites.
