The aspect ration of "older" TVs is 3:4, while the aspect ratio of the new wide-screen TVs is 9:16. Your 35" TV has a vertical dimension of 21". A comparable wide-screen will have a horizontal of about 37 1/3", giving you a diagonal of 42.8". The closest I know of to this is a 42" TV.

Hi. 35" is the hypotenuse of a right triangle and you aspect ratio is now 4:3. Your new TV may have a different aspect ratio, say 9:16, so just trig it out.

it type of feels to me that it would want to be suited to get the most important one which you may arise with the money for; i'm content cloth with my classic television for now, yet i'm effective i will get a widescreen finally, and actual i'd opt for to have the most important one i might want to arise with the money for.
