My name is.. well tht doesn't matter. I want to become popular but I dont know how. Dont tell me to be nice and be myself cause that stuff never ever works. So please tell me the waY!?!?!?!

You have to be confident. In other words, popular people always wear the trendy clothes and what not. But really, it's because they carry it with confidence.
I don't know why you are so concerned about popularity instead of your dreams.
If you a guitar player and you are AWESOME at it, then it doesn't matter if you are popular or not, it matters if you are good.
Being confident and nice are two things, but once you are a fake, forget it.
I would focus on being a great guitar player, and your confidence carrying it to making the band.
If you are nervous and shy and INSECURE, then you won't make it.
You also have to be nice to everyone, and I mean EVERYONE. Popular people are not mean to people. You don't want to be hated because after you graduate from high school, all this won't matter and in the real world, you will not have any friends.

Sorry it doesn't work that way. And it's not all it's cracked up to be anyway. If you want to be in the band and you have talent (assuming that it is a band that prefers talent to popularity) then you should talk to the person organizing it. If not then start your own band.
Popular kids when I was in high school had all the nicest most up to date fashions. They also had rich parents. Rich parents hang out together, therefore their kids hang out together. They take dance and gymnastics together. They go to church together, ect. AND THEY PLAY SPORTS! Find a sport,any sport - get in it. Become a cheerleader. A soccer player. Softball or baseball. Anything. Take it seriously and get good.
There is usually at least one nice popular person in the group. One of those "I talk to everyone" type of people. Start talking to that person. Get yourself the stuff they have. Ebay helps. But it's expensive - that is why everyone doesn't have it.
Often though, the relationships that popular people have go way back - getting in with them is very difficult. It is also a waste of time. But that is besides the point........

for one, you can't get popular in a week. realistically you can get yourself recognized but then people will forget you after a while. in my day people were popular for being themselves and usually they were well known for the things they were good at. just find something you are good at and if you are really good maybe even people outside of your school will notice you. i remember we were putting a band together and i saw this one quiet guy playing the guitar under the stairs in school. i never knew that guy existed but when i heard him playing the guitar i didn't care who he was. i just got him. popularity doesn't really matter.

Honestly being popular shouldn't have anything to do with it. yes i know the old being yourself thing doesn't usually work but just try to fit in but not change your whole personality because then you'll just feel awkward and when you feel awkward to look awkward.

being popular is bad all the people who r popular are mean really mean. i was popular for a stage but then i was pretending to be like them, NASTY. its not good i wasnt happy. but if u want it that bad well act like a ***** thats the way to be popular.

Being popular isn't that important. It may seem important to you while you're in school, but it means nothing in the real world. So yeah be yourself and not FAKE!

positive questions and go around to see if there are good

try to get on everyone's good side. Know what makes them angry and happy and do whatever you can to make them think your chill and keep going from there..
