Without examining you, I would say your past abortion has nothing to do with your present symptoms as it's been a long time since that procedure. You shouldn't have to ask your gyn to look for anything specific. Make an appointment for a regular yearly check-up, describe your exact symptoms to the doc, and let him/her determine what the cause of your discomfort might be. Try not to worry and don't think you're being paid back for having the abortion. Our bodies are strange little things with lots of quirks. Hopefully you will get a simple answer with an easy solution!

If you went to your post abortion check up, took your antibiotics, it's very very unlikely that the symptoms you are experiencing now are a result of your abortion. Abortion is a relatively safe procedure and botched abortions, negative complications or long term effects (unless done outside of a medical clinic/hospital) are extremely rare and generally pop up long before the 3 year mark.

Your symptoms could be a sign of something else. Pain on the right side is sometimes apendicitus. While that very well may not be what you are experiencing, you should get to your doctor, just incase it is serious.

First off, I'm so sorry that not only did you have to go through this but that you're now feeling pains. This problem you're having might not be from the abortion, but if it was it could be scar tissue that's built up and is pressing on a nerve or an organ. If you are having abnormal periods that could be a sign that it's something to do with your overies. I don't know but a dr would know for sure and probably needs to run some test. Take care.

I would have to say that since it has been 3 years, the chance of this being related is pretty slim. Could be scar tissue that has built up over the years. Best advice I could give you (which is the same as the other responses) is to go see your OBGYN and tell him (or her) what you are feeling. You won't know unless you go see your Doc. Good luck to you and hope you are feeling better soon.

When was your last pap? Tell your obgyn what you are feeling and ask if it justifies a sonogram. They sometimes will do this if they need to check your pelvic. It isn't used just for pregnancies. Hopefully everything is ok but a sonogram will help them see if there is something different plus a pap. Since you have had this procedure I would suggest yearly paps. It will be ok. If you want to email me and talk more privately you can.

If it's been 3 years I sort of doubt your abortion has anything to do with your symptoms. Your doctor would likely check you for ovarian cysts and I'm not sure what else - and yes, you should see your doctor before this possibly turns into something more!

blame the mothers and fathers that dont have regulations. i see the comparable element each and all of the time at procuring centres with 8 year olds in skinny leg denims severe boots skimpy tops and makeup 3 inches thick. Watch the tip of Little leave out Sunshine with the girls in the pagents. they're approximately 6 years previous and that they seem terrible with their hair sprayed till it particularly is as annoying as a rock.

I'd just try to explain as well as I could what I was experiencing, and let your gynaecologist work out what to look for. If you sometimes get nervous at the doctors and you forget things, then make a list of what you think is important, and any questions you might want to ask her/him.

Tell your OBGYN exactly what you just told us.
You should get checked right away. If you do have a problem, you don't want to wait before it becomes something serious.

GO GET CHECK OUT by a REPUTABLE MEDICAL DOCTOR!

Hope you feel better soon.

Call them right away and tell them all your symptons. Since your abortion was 3 years ago it shouldn't be related, unless a cyst or build up tissue is the problem.
