#1: Before the vietnam war, the Soviet Union wanted to spread Communism to all over the world. The United States, who were afraid that Communism will definitely "take over" every country, started to spread another type of government called Capitalistic. The Soviet and the United States' governments had effected two countries: Vietnam and Korea.., which had caused the Vietnam War. ;]

countries have been fighting internally forever, Vietnam was no exception. The US got involved when the French abandoned their colony and we wanted to stop the spread of Communism or sell more guns to enrich the favored.
