How come in those Star Wars movies and the games when the people go in the bacta tanks, they wear breathing masks but not something to keep them from eliminating into the liquid? I know they go to the bathroom (I saw a toilet in the diagram of Obi-Wans house on Tattooine from a SW Visual Dictionary) and I was just wondering because nurses put catheters in people who are very ill or comprimised in some way. I know some of you may say "well maybe they get out and use the bathroom every couple of hours" but most of the people I've seen in them are either very sick, unconsious and/or sedated.

When Luke was in the bacta tank, he was wearing what looked to be a diaper.

Either Mwat07 is correct, or bacta breaks down waste products upon contact into nothing.

It's probably something George Lucas wasn't thinking much about when he made the movies. It's a really minor aspect that hardly anyone would notice.

They may wear funny pants, (The view through the tank look pretty weird, so you can't really tell)
