There are actually more bacterial cells in our bodies than there are human cells (2-20x as many). Prokaryotic (bacteria) cells are far smaller than eukaryotic cells (the type of cells our body is composed of).

Hi. There are about 50 trillion cells in the human body. A healthy human has far fewer bacteria then this. A cadaver may have many bacteria for each cell.
