i am doing a comparative essay about the pension systems in Europe ( united Kingdom, France, Switserland)
but I have no idea what to write as a thesis.

I don't know anything about pension systems in these countries, but I am guessing that they probably differ in the way the pension systems are funded (self-funded or gov. assisted or coverage provided completely by the gov. ?). The countries may also have different health care or welfare systems, so a larger pension might be needed if you have to pay all of your medical costs. A thesis might be that retired people have different standards of living/quality of life in each of the countries because of differences in pension structure and different forms of social welfare systems?
