I read a story about a person of the FBI website and was claimed to shoot himself in the head 3 times with a handgun... It went down in the records as suicide

This can happen, if the person is using a low-powered handgun such as a .25 automatic or .32 automatic. The bullet, even at close distances may not have enough velocity to penetrate a skull if it strikes on of the thicker areas. The bullet will penetrate the skin, and travel along the contour of the skull under the scalp!
Ask anyone who has worked in a big-city ER if they haven't seen this - It happens! Often the victim is released after removal of the slug with no hospitalization!
.22 bullets, are higher velocity than .25's and .32's and usually penetrate the skull, but less occasionally this happens with them as well.

Only with machine gun. Only if it is suicide. But in the case of murder, yes it is possible to shoot three times in the head.

Unless, it is nerves, I don't see how that is possible. Even if it is nerves, I don't see how that is possible. Of course it probably depends on how he shot himself. Did he just graze himself, was he nervous (that could factor into his aim), and where in the head did he shoot himself? All those are questions that are relatively important to determine how it is possible.

well if you shot yourself in the ear, then in the jaw, then between the eyes it is quite possible...
ya know if you state where the shots entered and left (if they did) the persons head it would be easier to determine the possibility of such a thing....

I suppose it depends on your definition of "in the head" -- like physically penetrating, or merely grazing the scalp? I mean, the old adage goes, three in the head you know they're dead, so......

may be .0000001 chance in 100 to this because brain got damaged badly in one shot and doesnot work so there is no way for brain to think again to shoot.. and third shot!!!!!!! Its impossible
