Depends on which ones you sign up with. Some are good...others are scams. Don't expect to get rich off of any of them.

I've listed some of the sites I have taken surveys through and actually been paid (or recieved other rewards like gift cards or CDS) on the following site, if you are interested:

http://www.windhavenweb.com/surveys

I list how they pay you, what I like and dislike about them, whether they have an affiliate or referral program, etc.

There are others out there. Be careful though, there are also scams. Don't sign up for any survey site which asks you to pay to access the surveys. Also watch for language like "get paid for taking surveys AND SIGNING UP FOR OFFERS" if you don't want to have to sign up for stuff with other companies to get paid.

Always carefully read their terms of service and privacy policy. If in their privacy policy they say they only use aggregated info, this is GOOD SIGN they are legit. Aggregated info information that is grouped together so it can't be connected with anyones personal identification like name, e-mail, phone or address. That's what survey sites SHOULD collect. Avoid sites that say they give, rent, or sell any personal information (info that is not agregated) to third parties (unless you really don't mind getting junk mail, telemarketing calls, and spam).

Also just recently came across a good survey ratings site that I've found very helpful:

Having so many paid surveys available all the time lets you live the kind of life you want.

I travel with my family 3 or 4 months every year! While I'm on vacation, I love to take paid surveys while relaxing on the beach. I can pay for my entire stay in just a few hours of taking surveys!

I have never been paid from an online survey they've all been scams but after I had my first son I was paid at a grocery store 20.00$ to answer questions on baby formula. Even though I never used baby formula I breast fed... I still got paid.

I'm a member of one that sends me a check for five bucks every time I do a survey. But it's not like I could make a living from it--they don't have a site filled with surveys. I have to wait for them to email me one, which is only once every couple of weeks. And I had to be referred to the site by a friend; I couldn't just join up on my own.

The best site i've found is SurveySavvy. It's free to sign up, they are a member of the better business bureau, THEY DON'T SPAM YOU and you start earning cash right away! The more people you refer, the more money you can make. I made $20.00 on my first survey! Try it!

THESE 'surveys" are a total scam. You never get money but you will get a flood of spam with all kinds of "offers" of free stuff if only you will sign up for certain "Deals" all of bwhich cost you money. Avoid these survey outfits.

I was doing it for a few months and I have NEVER been paid a single cent... I wouldn't bother. If anyone can tell me how as well then I'll do it.
