Townhouse in the old days was a house in town. Now it is referred to as a style of a building usually for residential purposes, it is a term used to describe a condo or apartment. They consist of 2 floors, 1.5 to 2 storie in nature and having the bedrooms upstairs separate from the living room and kitchen area.
Condo is the way ownership is set up, it has nothing to do with style but usually is a building that can resemble an apartment building or a duplex unit. You can have office or residential condo units. You own all inside your particular unit from the paint in and share common areas like walls, hallways, steps, entry areas, driveways, roof, etc. You pay into a "sinking fund" that sets aside funds for roof replacement, insurance, grounds upkeep. etc. and is commonly referred to as the "association fee".

a townhouse is a house, but share a common wall with another house. a condo looks like an apartment, but has an owner instead of a renter. A condo shares common walls and the ceiling and floor with other condos.

a townhouse is the complete structure - walls, exterior, land as part of the ownership and deed, and the structure is attached on one or more sides by a similar building. a condo is simply ownership of the interior - interior walls, floors, ceiling and contents. there is no exterior maintenance required with a condo - the upkeep to the exterior is maintained by a condo association and insured by the association itself.
update
you CAN have a condo side by side, instead of just above or below you - there are one-story condos. likewise, you can have townhomes stacked one on another as well. as long as the entire structure of your townhouse is owned by you and not the association, its a townhouse.

A Condominium refers to a type of joint ownership of real property in which portions of the property are commonly owned and other portions are individually owned. A common example is a converted apartment building, where individuals own the units, but the condo association owns and is responsible for the hallways, elevators, lobby, etc.
A Townhouse is a home that is attached to one or more other houses, but which sits directly on a parcel of land that is individually owned. In this case, the owner is responsible for all maintenance of his/her unit and land, although often a group will contract for such things as lawn care and landscaping. One caveat, vertical townhouses, where a individually-owned unit exists above another is possible, in which case there is an easement or right-of-way provided so that all owners have permanent access to their respective properties.

In a townhouse you usually have your own front door and garage. In a condo...not so much. A condo is like an apartment that you own.

regrettably, maximum persons do no longer keep in mind that, functionally, there is not any distinction. the immediately ahead time period, emotion, in many situations is seen as something different from the technical time period, impact. Even professionals, which contain Ekman and Tompkins have made unnecessary differences, complicating the image. Emotion, or impact, is someone's energetic (non-verbal) reaction ( or "examining") of the interplay with their ecosystem. Emotion provides us counsel about, and the flexibility to finish actual projects, ideal to the situations (which contain survival). through the indisputable fact that is non-verbal, that is seen to be below the fringe of conscious knowledge, for this reason the word "subconscious" used for this journey/feeling. Tompkins did have one element suited: impact is time-honored. because it develops before conscious, verbal-depending cognition, it has a larger impact over habit than wondering. maximum politicians and promoting professionals can attest to this. even if, this energetic enter isn't a command, that is purely a a possibility. because body impacts ideas and strategies impacts body, we are able to rekindle ideas that would want to remember emotional responses. The starting place is from environmental interactions, no longer from wondering. yet we are able to call up certain emotions without interplay contained in the on the spot. We purely draw on journey. even if oversimplified, W.B. Cannon change into proper.
