how does cytokinesis differ in plant and animal cells?

When plant cells form the cell plate between them, they do not break apart, but animal cells completely split apart.

I think in plants the cell expands and cell wall has to form between but in animal cells the cell will sort of "pinch-off" the cell membrane.

in plant cells, a cell plate forms to divide the two cells that jsut formed after telophase.
in animals cells, it is called cleavage furrow. same function.

the only difference is the terms. and the cell plate in plants are rectangular.coz plant cells have cell walls,right??
