I'm getting a black iPod Nano for Christmas but I was wondering what's the difference between the bigger iPods compared to the Nano?

The biggest difference is that the "normal" iPod contains a small hard drive. The iPod Nano uses solid state flash RAM. The Nano should be more rugged.

iPod nano is very thin and very small. The regular iPod is the size of a Rolodex card and is much thicker.

well the bigger ipods are better because even though there a lil bit bigger, they have way more gb's so they hold more. they can also have movies and tv shows on them, and you can add more games on them too.
