If you have a home network, you can transfer files through a shared folder on the network. Just go to "My Computer" and click on "Shared Documents". Put the files in there and they will be available for the desktop computer. play Again, going to "My Computer" and click on "Shared Documents". Use Windows Explorer to move the files where you wish.

well you have several options, the easiest way would be to use a usb flash drive which provides fast and easy transfer of files, and the space is limited to the usb flash drive, if both computer have internet access you have attach the files to an email to yourself and then access it on the other PC, and your last option would be to burn the files you have on a cd and then just pop the cd in the other computer...

1.u can burn it on to CD and then transfer it
2.if u have a pen drive(usb) then also u can easily transfer
3.if u know how to network 2 computers you can have a network
between your laptop desktop and then transfer

hi..
which operating system ur using.
if ur using windows XP then there is a tool in XP ...called system migration tools. frm it ur can easily transfer ur files frm ur laptop to desktop.
start>>accessories>system tool>>USMT
jus open it and do as it says..
its creates an image and jus copy that image to ur system and again jus go that feature to restore ur data..
and ur whole data(which u ve selected) will be copied at ur desktop..

i think using winzip u could zip em up and put it on a cd and stick it into your comp and unzip it and it should work only if u have winzip if you dont i think gmail could help
