rap...promotes a lot of hate....i can't stand it. Disco influenced alot of 80's new wave...then became alternative rock...I don't know but the disco era seemed alot happier....yet,i couldn't stand disco either...yeah...rap is worse

Depends,... some disco and some rap. All genre's have their bad seeds... example Vanilla Ice.

id be going with rap .. not too fond of it .. cause all it seems like to me is someone bitchin' about stuff and crap !!!
and most of the rap singers look like a bunch of gangsters !!
i lived thru the disco era and LOVE it still today !!! DISCO Rocks !!!!!!

With Disco they were singing. Rap isn't singing and you don't have to have a great voice to do it. It's just fast talking people...
