As a Buckeye fan I have to say I would have liked to had the pleasure of watching Michigan get beat twice in one year, and as cliche as it is, they did have their shot at the champs, and home field or not they lost. They got two garbage td's one at the end so it wasn't really a 3 point game. I don't want to say OSU is gonna roll Florida, because Florida is definately gonna have the underdog mentality going for them, but they did beat the number 8 team in the country, and really should've been ranked ahead of Michigan last week, instead of USC.
It sucks that it has to be said, but a lot of politics are involved too, there is no way they would let two big 10 schools into the national championship, especially after they already played. We're talking millions of dollars here going to one conference instead of being split between two. And if you want to get real about it, what about Boise State, sure they play sh*t opponents, but they're the only other undefeated team, don't they deserve a shot?
I definately can't argue the point that Florida beat the most ranked opponents. The fact of the matter is, the SEC has the most parity of any conference this year, so it's tough to say how well many of those teams would stack up against a quality big 10 or big 12 school such as Oklahoma, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska and OSU, because they've just been beating each other.
I don't think Michigan got cheated, but the only solution to the controversy is to drop a game or two from the schedule and make playoffs. There can still be sponsorships, with the money being divided evenly between teams/conferences depending on how far they go. The national championship can have the same payday it does now, the semifinals have the payday of the other bcs bowls, the quarterfinals, that of the Jan 1st bowls and those making the first round get that of going to another bowl game. Any other leftover teams can have extra bowl games based on whether or not they make the 16 team cut, so you can still have your whogivesacrap.com bowl games.

Absolutely not, Michigan had their fair shot to get in and they blew it. Those Michigan people have no right to complain, they couldn't even win with the turnovers that Ohio State gave them. They won it for Bo(He was a Buckeye before he was a wolverine).
If you ask me, the BCS got it right, this year. Ohio State won the Big Ten, and Florida won the SEC. It would have been pretty screwed up having Michigan play for the National Championship when they couldn't even win their conference. That should be a necessary pre- requisite.

No they didn't if they would have beat OSU in the first place you wouldn't be on here bitchin and moaning get over it and I'm not a Florida fan either in fact I was pulling for OSU until I seen how some of the fans think that they are going to crush florida which I promise won't happen I'm going with florida in an upset. The game between osu and mich wasn't as close as the score indicated osu should have won by atleast 14 but the refs were apparently wearing blue under their stripes. But I bet USC beats Mich by 10.

The 2 best teams will be in the game.. Ohio State and Florida.. Floridas going and deserve to and here's why.....:
Offensive TD's Scored:
FLORIDA - 44
USC - 43
Michigan - 41
Average Yards per Play:
FLORIDA - 6.51
USC - 5.95
Michigan - 5.64
Top 25 Defenses Faced:
FLORIDA - 5
Michigan - 3
USC - ZERO
Losses to UNRANKED teams:
USC - 1
FLORIDA - ZERO
Michigan - ZERO
Losses to Top 15 teams:
FLORIDA - 1
Michigan - 1
USC - ZERO
So it must be a problem with our defense, you say?
Scoring Defenses:
FLORIDA is #4 Nationally (allowing 12.3 per game)
Michigan is #9 Nationally (allowing 14.6 per game)
USC is #13 Nationally (allowing 15.1 per game)
SO...
The University of Florida has scored more Touchdowns than USC or Michigan... gained more yards per play than USC or Michigan... all against much tougher defenses than those faced by USC or Michigan... and has a BETTER DEFENSE than USC or Michigan...
When did it become more important to earn these "style points" (buzz word for what a team that the media wants to put #2 has and a team that the media doesn't want to put #2 does not have

The Blue got totally robbed, it is complete BS that you could drop 2 spots in the rankings in 2 weeks without even losing a game. I hate Ohio State so much but I almost hope that they blow Florida out of the water. Florida sucks and the SEC is so overated. Florida has no chance of beating Ohio State. It would have been a great game if Michigan got in.

I personally did not. Michigan had its chance and lost. I am no Florida fan either but they won their division championship and had a stronger strength of schedule. It has also been several weeks since they last lost. Where as Michigan lost last week. Now with that being said, Michigan is a great football team. But for this year they will have to settle for USC.

Florida not only knows how to rig political elections; they also apparently know how to rig the BCS. The huge sigh of relief coming from Ohio is their football team knowing that they will not have to face Michigan. They know in their heart of hearts, that they did not want to play U of M on a neutral field. You might as well give Ohio State the trophy now. They will dismember Florida, the team from the overrated SEC!

The BCS is BS. The Ncaa needs to pull it's head out of the sand and install a playoff system so we don't have to go through the same thing every year.
