At this point, the Raiders will have either the #1or #2 pick (since Detroit is also in the same boat). Troy Smith looks to be the concensus #1 draft pick at this point and both teams could use a new QB in their system, especially with his game play and seemingly impressive handling of his offense and opponent's defenses.
Brady Quinn will be drafted in the first round, but he may not get the attention that he was hoping for since Notre Dame went 10-2, with both losses coming from very strong teams (Michigan and USC). Look for Quinn to be gone by the 12th pick overall.

The raiders will most likely have the first pick. Everything i have heard said that nfl scouts believe that quinn is the most nfl ready qb in the draft but since you are talking about the raiders who knows what the hell they would do no one has been able to figure them out for awhile now. I have heard some very smart football people on espn and other news outlets make the statement that Al Davis is one of the most football smart people in the nfl but he sure hasn't shown it over the past few years. I think that if detroit were to draft quinn that would be a very good fit. Millan has got to be fired before he drafts another wr with the first round pick.

Troy Smith, the consensus pick to be drafted 1st overall?? What crackhead is writing this? Troy Smith is barely 6 foot tall, and I can count on 1 hand, maybe even 2 fingers, how many QB's are worth a #1 pick with that lack of height. I will be surprised if he is drafted in the first 2 rounds...

I believe Raiders will get the first pick. However, Raiders will not pick Quinn. Al Davis decides what the Raiders pick and he does not pick QB in the first round. In prior drafts, Al Davis passed on Big Ben, Matt Leinart, and Jay Culter. I personally Raiders need to fix their offensive line which is the worst o-line I ever seen. Robert Gallery is the biggest bust I seen in a left tackle in years. Not only Gallery get beat by defensive ends but he causes many penalties. Raiders should wait for a good free agent QB.

If the raiders have the first pick they would probably take Brady Quinn but the experts think different. Here is a site for all your draft needs.

To all you Idiots who think a rookie is the answer. The Raider WILL NOT pick a qb in the upcoming draft. If they do he will back up aaron brooks or andrew walter. A quarterback will not solve every answer in oakland.

If the Raiders get the first pick and choose a QB, he better be very fast. With their OL he will get killed if he's slow.
