You have to weigh out in your mind, what is more important to you in the end. Is it a relationship with his co-worker, or is it the fact that she's a mormon. If her being a mormon is going to affect your relationship in major way in the future, than don't go out with her.
If you can't seem to make the decision, then go out with her and ask her while you guys are out first and foremost if your different beliefs would create conflicts in the future. Good luck.

Get over it. You're both Christians, the denomination shouldn't affect who you date and/or fall in love with. If you really want to date her, go for it! If your friends and family can't deal with the fact that she's Mormon, just be patient and give it time. People usually warm up eventually, sometimes it just takes a little longer.

If you like her, go out. Work out the rest later.

don't let beliefs get in the way of a relationship, it doesn't matter what you believe, just who you are, and who she is
