"Neil Bush, son of the then vice president of the United States, was scheduled to have dinner on March 31, 1981, with Scott Hinckley, brother of John Hinckley, the day after a bullet came within an inch of making Neil Bush's father the new president of the United States."

"John Chancellor, eyebrows raised, informed the viewers of NBC Nightly News that the brother of the man who tried to kill the president was acquainted with the son of the man who would have become president if the attack had been successful. As a matter of fact, Chancellor said in a bewildered tone, Scott Hinckley and Neil Bush had been scheduled to have dinner together at the home of the vice president's son the very next night."

"Neil Bush was scheduled to have dinner with Scott Hinckley on March 30th, 1981 - the day that then President Reagan was shot by Scott's younger brother John Hinckley, Jr. (the Hinckley Family and the Bush family were in the energy industry). The dinner was canceled. Additionally, the Bush family and Hinckley family are related, both having descended from Thomas Hinckley (born 19 Mar 1619, Hawkhurst, Kent, England; died 25 Apr 1706, Barnstable, MA) who was Governor of Plymouth Colony from 1658-1681."

OMG, are you kidding me? I can't believe some people have nothing better to do with their time than to make outrages claims such as this. What's next? Robert E. Lee paid JW Booth to shoot Abraham Lincoln? You are so lame to even suggest such a thing. Why is this just coming out now, 25+ years later? Could it be because your ilk hates GW Bush so much that you will say ANYTHING no matter how moronic you sound to make the Bush family seem evil?

Well this makes sense, Bush being a notorius tightwad, he was too cheap to buy anything but .22 bullets, "wouldn't be prudent." Well I don't blame him, Reagan probably ordered him to eat his broccoli.
