Yes. I can't legally get married so if I didn't believe in sex before marriage then I'd never have sex.

What's to believe in? I believe in it, as much as I believe it happens, lol! What's right for some people may not be right for others. As far as the 'try before you buy' theme goes, if you don't know any different, nothing could possibly be more perfect :)
Personally I am keeping my virginity until wedlock, to me it's more than just a bit of fun, more than a game.
It's a beautiful thing that shouldn't be played with lightly, decide wisely, and know that your heart can lead you astray...

Love makes the world go 'round, is that why I'm so dizzy?

In a word...NO! Setting all morality aside I would add the following; If a couple are really in love (not in heat) and have the opportunity to have sex, and choose not too untill marriage, then there is no other better guarentee that they will remain faithful after the marriage. Sex before marriage, even as an expression of "love" is still before marriage and can always give rise to doubt as to fidelity later in the marriage.

Do I believe in it? I don't have to - I KNOW it happens. If one wants to be celebate until one gets married that is one's own business. In other words, to each his/her own. Whatever it is one decides -- just be careful out there.

Those arguments about fidelity and lasting marriages are HOOEY. There has been a 50% divorce rate ever since the 1950s. And anecdotally, ALL of the people I know who are still married including myself (17 years) had sex with our spouses before we were married.

English is such a slippery language.
of course I "believe" in it because it happens all the time. Its a fact.

Now do I agree that this is something that one should participate in?

In an ideal world .. perhaps not.

In the world we live in, I would hesitently recommend it.

It did me some good. It does others some good .. it can hurt some.

I would not recommend being the wild child and having 300 to 600 unique partners in a year like some basketball stars.

be good, and if you cannot be good be careful.

It depends on what the individual person feels is right for them. You can choose to or not to have sex because it is your body. But it would be best to be very well informed and at least 16 years old before you begin having sex.

Yes, of course, before marriage. Do you really want to spend the rest of your life with someone who you aren't sexually compatible with?
