How can you created a site icon? Like the Y! at Yahoo?

The little image next to the URL in the address bar? That's called a favicon. They are 16px by 16px images, either but in the root of the website directory and named favicon.ico, or you need to put:

At the top of your html pages in the head. You can change the name of the file if you want, just make sure to change the href to match the new file and the type to match the file type.

Search google with the word Favicon
or..

icon file should be 16x16 size.

you might need something like adobe illustrator... it's not as easy as it seems though
