how do I move my sim out of a house?

If you're talking about an family, for sims two, then in neighborhood mode, there is a house on the menu bar, you select it and all the houses should have a green highlight around them you will see an icon with a house and an arrow, just click on the house that you would like to move the family our of, and it will show up in your family bin

If it is just one adult, then you can get the newspaper or computer, and there will be an option to "find their own place"

if its a teen, you can send it off ot college with a phone.
