Im a manager at BK, and sometimes ppl piss me off. Especially when they argue about having to pay tax..ts like look I myself do not decide you have to pay tax on fast food its the state. Really its 30 cents not 30 dollars!

Mine was at BK too (hmmm....do I see a trend?) We went through the drive-thru for breakfast and ended up missing a croissant. My daugher ran in and they refused to give it to her without the receipt (we are talking 10 seconds later.) When she explained that we weren't given the receipt, the manager started calling my daughter a liar until the drive-thru girl came over and told her that she didn't give us a receipt and corrected the order. As my daughter walked out, she overheard the manager telling this poor girl off for "butting in." That whole scene really turned us off of that restaurant.

Many years ago, I went to a Burger King in Manhattan, and I ordered a strawberry milkshake. I paid the money, and waited.

I was soon told that there were no milkshakes.

When I asked for my money back, the look of shock and panic that washed over the cashier's face... You'd have thought I asked for the money Out Of Her pocket.

They had to get the manager, who had to call the main office, who had to get the CEO's permission, or some more complicated than necessary process to give me back my money. And all the while, the cashier kept asking me if I wanted something else. After about the third would-be substitution, I said "Look, I wanted a milkshake, you don't have them, I want my money back. It's that simple."

I don't think I ever went back to that particular Burger King.

While waiting the drive through at a McDonalds, I watched the kid frying burgers spit on a patty and throw it on the grill.

I haven't eaten at a McDonalds since then and that was in 1976.

A girlfriend I once was dating wanted to drop by one for her kids but I felt sick when we got to the parking lot so I didn't go in.

I've seen others over the years but that one affected me a lot more than then others.
