it seems there is a controversery every year with the BCS and I know this debate is brought up countless times throughout the year, but is the NCAA even seriously considering this???

division 1-AA has a 16 team playoff system that works perfectly...and its a lot of fun to watch.

I believe the NCAA and BCS have a contract through or untill 2008 (not positive) but im not sure what theyll do after that

There is always talk about it but nothing is never done. There has always been controversey and always be until they do set up some sort of playoff format. They need to get off their asses and do something about it. Even though the I agree with who is playing in the championship game there is still too many flaws in the BCS.
