Or like in general because I have busted my *** for those last 3 years in high school and now my Guidance counselor has told me that I don't have much of a chance at getting into College. Mostly because of the No Child Left Behind Policy, but that doesn't matter now. so anyway can anyone help me?

I can't believe a guidance counselor would tell you that; perhaps he/she is clumsily trying to motivate you to work harder, but that doesn't seem like an appropriate way to do it! Assuming you will be graduating from high school, you can generally get into any community college, no matter what your grades are. Also, any school with "open admissions" is a possibility for you. Look at CollegeBoard.com for a list (go to admissions, and look for 4-year schools which will admit any college graduate. You might also make sure you take (and take seriously) both the SAT and the ACT tests, which may speak to your potential for college work, regardless of what your grades were in the past. Good luck!

Don't listen to your guidance councillor! If you want to get into a different school focus on the school that you want and go for it! There are ways in you just need to find them.
