Loved it and would tune in every week if they had it on! The whole concept was fab and the fact that they took most of it from the actual diaries that were kept was brilliant. Would love to see more of the same. About time the BBC made a good drama. x

Hi jax yes but i am glad that we have Hospitals that are open 24/7 available to us imagine you could die waiting for them to open at 8am.It was a very good programme as you say they were taken from real cases of the era so they told you the out come, and that poor man who discovered the xray machine ,it was a way to learn about History interestingly.

Yes, I watched it. Interesting. Like you, I also don't care much for the modern hospital dramas.

It was interesting to watch...made me appreciate the NHS even though we tend to moan about it...at least it is free healthcare 24 hours a day!! Very good interpretation of true life records.Bring back matrons!!

I thought it was very good. I liked how it was based upon real people, it also made me realise how lucky we are today despite all the moaning we do about the NHS

i watched it and thought it was great. it reminded of poliakoff's dramas, like shooting the past. i don't think you could give a TV drama a better compliment than that.
