I would surmise that the fox probably had a very active evening the night before, and is now very, very hungover.

Those wild foxes are known for their hard partying ways (that's why they're "wild").

Because of the poor little fox's hangover, I would try to be as quiet as possible, and maybe offer the fox a buffered analgesic and a glass of water.

i would think that i've obviously been out in the sun too long and that i should get back to a doctor. if it was a cloudy day, though, i would think that people need to stop littering or messing with the wild.
