What part of this question can you not answer for yourself, in less time that it takes to type the question?
Do you know what FACTORS are? They are numbers which go evenly into the number in question. Is 5 a factor of 24? No. Is 7 a factor of 24? No.
Do you know what a DIFFERENCE is? It is ... well ... the difference between two numbers. It is obtained by subtracting the two. What's the difference between 3 and 6? If I have had six perms and you have had three, what's the difference between us? Three perms.

Factors are numbers that multiply by each other, that's the first thing you need to know.
So first find two numbers that when multiplied equals 24.
3 x 6 = 18
3 x 5 = 15
4 x 6 = 24
5 x 7 = 35
Obviously the answer has to be C, because it's the only one that ends up being 24.
To explain a little further, if there were 2 results with the answer of 24... for instance 4 x 6 and 2 x 12, you would have to pick the answer that has the difference of 2. 12 - 2 = 10 and 6 - 4 = 2, so the answer would be 4 x 6.
I know I went a little beyond the answers you gave, but I did so to make sure you fully understood for problems that may come to you in the future!

The answer is C. It is C because A the difference is 3 not 2 (that is eliminated). Then you have B, the difference is 2 but 5 is not a factor of 24. Then you have D, the difference is 2 but once again, 5 is not a factor of 24.We are now left with C which is a factor of 24 (4x6 and 6x4) and has a difference of 2. :)

Because 4 and 6 have a difference of two and they are factors of 24. That is they multiply to give you 24.

Answer is C. Only in B C and D exists a diference of 2 between the numbers, and the multiplication of this must be 24 and only C it fullfills the caracteristics.
