U can go to:

www.publicschoolreview.com

I think they're pretty accurate.

You can, also, go to the school and ask the principal for a tour.

Eve~
If you want to make sure that your teenager is in a good school i suggest you try out their website for the school. Look it up on the Internet. Has it ever been a Blue Ribbon school, which means its a great school to enroll your teen in? Is it known to be a "good" school. I live in California so there are such things as "California Distinguished Schools". This means the school is good but a blue ribbon school is better. Also a good way to check if the school is good for your teen have a quick meeting with the principal. I'm sure he or she will be happy to tell you all about how kids at that school are, their grades etc. If you have any questions feel free to contact me! Best of luck to ya Eve :-)

I believe that you can look up Great Schools on the internet. This site will give you information on test scores, class sizes and etc. There are also areas where parents can comment on the school. It might not tell you everything that you need to know but it would be a good place to start.

Get your daughter or son to ask around, what the adults say is not always how actually good the school is... My friend moved away and enrolled in a different school in my area... All my friends who go there think it's the worst school ever, with drugs, and horrible disturbing stuff, but she's going.. We'll see how she likes it.... However she's going to get a really goo grades because the standard is really low at her school... Get your kids to find out, looking at a website isn't going to help.. But perhaps finding out how they did on the sats or provincial exams wherever you live might help.

Ask around your community. Ask other parents with teenagers going to that school. Google it. Ask your kid what s/he has heard through the rumor mill about it.
