Why can't people act with love towards other year round?

I know what you mean! But, I don't feel I am that way at all. In fact, I feel more cynical if anything this time of year. I see people rushing around buying useless junk for people who already have more than they need all in the name of being generous and giving. I guess to answer your question, it's all about culture. We are conditioned from the time we are babies to adopt a sentimental attitude at this time of year. To me, it's just culture and going with the flow. Personally, I try for karma points everyday I'm alive.

Some people get renewed spirit around the holiday becasue of having family and friends around. It shouldn't be that way, but that is the way it is in life. I think a lot of people take life for granted and should be blessed to live in the United States. I think this society has to focus on love and unity more during the year to give great energy to people in need.

It's just a feeling that everyone gets during the holidays. The only reason I can think of is the birth of Jesus Christ. =) Merry Christmas!
