Canadians are way cool with me.
I only know a few, so this is about 25% unjustified generalization and 75% talking-out-my-***, but Canadians just seem like good, friendly, down-to-earth kinds of people. They remind me of Vermonters, just with less maple syrup and more ice hockey. They have silly accents and the feisty French attitude of the Quebecois is oh-so-cute.
A+ for a infinitely more enlightened policy towards drugs and alcohol than we poor folk in the U.S. could ever dream of.
A+ for a more socialized, egalitarian system and conception of property, and A+ for universal health care, even if a lot of Canucks come down to America for those hard-to-find specialized procedures and surgeries.
Hey, they get surgery, we get cheap prescription drugs. Everyone wins.
Sure, I'm sure the country's got some problems (that thing with the Expos didn't turn out so hot), but hell, who doesn't?
In conclusion, Canadians rock. With any luck, one day I'll make it up north and live amongst them.
Peace.

Coming from an American city that is on the Canadian border, I can not say a bad thing about them.
I have gone to Canada met many of them and have many of them as they have come to the states for different activities.
They are really not much different then Americans. During the olympics if the US can't win a metal, I route for Canada.

After going on a driving vacation through Alberta (Calgary Stampede rocks!) and British Columbia a few years ago I found the Canadian people to be very friendly and curious about America. Canada is a beautiful country.

a holiday in Stevenage? you will no longer get an somewhat sturdy effect of britain from that city. be certain you spend it sluggish in London, basically half-hour away by customary practice, and take a glance at something of our ideal united states of america. I relatively have visited Canada many cases as the two my father and brother lived there for an prolonged time. The Canadians are many times heat and liberal human beings.

Those that I know and also those that I have met, both in Canada and around the world, have been wonderful people. Two of my most fondest memories that speak volumes to the kindness of man are because of the generosity of two Canadians, one from Edmonton and another from Vancouver.

I love Canadian people in general. I have family that moved from the WA state area, to live up in Chase and Salt Spring Island. I have a dear Canadian friend, who lived as my neighbor for a few years, before her and her husband's visa's expired. His job wouldn't/didn't renew them so they had to move back. She misses living here too! Says it's way too expensive up there, and harder to live because of it. Now that I think about it, I'm way overdue for a visit!

My perception is that they are nice people. Like Americans without so much racism and violence, etc.
(the stereotype view is probably that of drunk hockey nuts that say "eh" after everything though)
