Okay, I'm building this computer, and I have everything. The thing is when I plug the power chord in, the power lights comes up & the hard drive turns on without pressing the power button on but the computer (MB) is off. I'm thinking its the power supply. When I push the power button it won't respond to it; i have to turn it off from the back. For me to able to turn on the computer completely I have to press the back switch off and on for like 7 times for it to turn on. But after a while it turns off... any help please!

first thing that comes to my mind is that, you dont have the connectors for the button on the computer's case correctly hooked up... either that or the button is broken... or your powersupply is faulty, but that doesn't make very much sense, because the ps and the button on the case aren't really related in the sense that if ones not working the other one wont work either...

Make sure you have the power button header connector hooked up to the motherboard header correctly.
