they lost to the rockets 81 to 63 and mcgrady was out of the game very disappointing but what can you do you know what do you think they need to be a sucessful basketball team because if they cant beat the rockets and can beat san antonio there something wrong

they need a quality big man to complement lb....the level of shaq or kevin garnett is probably the missing piece in terms of contending for a title

Consistency. They've had a tough time winning on the road the past two seasons.Larry Hughes, thought to be the most valuable asset to complement Lebron, has been plagued by injuries. They're not deep in the backcourt.
Their big men are also off an on. Drew Gooden and Illgauskas are both capable of having big games, but their perceived lack of effort has hampered their frontcourt.
Larry Hughes healthy. Consistency from their big men. Home court advantage throughout the playoffs. That's their best shot at the finals.

Better role players...the non-lebrons on the team arent that talented and rather inconsistent
but it doesnt matter if they make the finals...no east team is going to beat the west finalist no matter how u look at it the 8th seeded team in the west can contend for the eastern finalist spot so big whoop if the cavs make it

The Cavs aren't that good, just face it!! Lebron will take you only so far. With Shaq and D-Wade, there tough. Detroit is OK. But the Bulls, now that is scary. Ben Wallace is comin' around and that defense is only going to get more dominant!
