I am confused about ring tones on my verizon phone. What are they?

Well basically the ring tone is the tone you choose for your calls. When your phone rings.... that what plays. You can make ring tones for each caller. Go to ur phonebook and edit, then go to ringer id and u can set a ringtone for that person.

Ringtones are sound clips you download to play instead of a standard ringer when a call is coming in.
I recommend using get it now>vzw ring tones
Its very easy to use, cheap and has a very wide variety
