i'm not sure what kind of "cool words" you're looking for so i'll just give it a try :) cool as in cool sounding, synonyms for cool, positive words, negative words included, big words???
chilling, frigid, frosty, exemplary, ultimately, incredible, humongous, stupefy, miraculous, deathblow, poisonous, wondrous, ecstasy, etc.
there are too many words that could be cool :p sorry if i couldn't help...

An awesome word not a lot of people know about is "litotes", which is the opposite of hyperbole. (It's pronounced lie-TOE-teez.) Good word to use in your English class ;)

"Thermos" and Archipelago. "Serendipitous" isn't too bad either.
