Osama wants to create a Saudi controlled oil Caliphate.

Now, the steps he needed accomplished to create this were

1) Get the oil First-- remove the Soviets from the Caspian oil fields and pipeline routs. We so kindly offered our assistance.

2) Remove the man he called an evil socialist, Saddam Hussein, from the second largest Opec reserve. We also (after Osama orchestrated 9/11, we still so kindly obliged)

3) Keep the Shia who control the third larges reserve from expanding their influence outside Persia

4) Remove US troops from the land of the Holy Places (and largest oil reserve). We happily obliged about the time Bush paraded around declaring Mission accomplished.

5) Though he still hasn't accomplished this one, throwing over hte House of Saud to re-create an new Caliphate stretching from Sudan to to Kazakhstan.

Why did we hand all but the last step to him on a silver platter? And why do people STILL think that he hates our religion? Its money he love

I hope that in the cause of getting people to consider a very clear and logical argument that they might not normally consider based on the author's name, that the author will forgive me for not citing my source.

Though if you really must know, feel free to email me, and I will tell you.

1) Its not chatting, its an intelligent question.

2) I will simply repost after the answers team who never seems to read the questions that are reported before deleting them.

Sorry, but you won't dismiss an important discussion simply by making it go away.

Cause he is Bush's boy!
* We need a strong and intelligent President who will fight terrorism. But Bush has not done a good job and we need to point this out.
* Bush stopped chasing Osama Bin Laden and went after his old enemy Saddam Hussein who had nothing to do with 9/11.
* Bush has not paid enough attention to port security, diplomacy, nuclear non-proliferation or other security issues that leave us vulnerable.
* Bush's clumsy and aggressive policy of war and torture in the Muslim world inflames hatred against the United States and breeds more terrorists.
* Iraq was relatively peaceful in 2003 but is now a haven for terrorists including al Qaeda. Car bombings are a daily occurrence and the entire country is spiraling out of control.
* Bush has spent hundreds of billions of dollars on the war in Iraq that could have been spent fighting terrorism.

I don't know what you're on but it's rude not to share! Osama recruited Saudis for the hit on 9/11 because he wants Americans to hate all Saudis (their arrogant behaviour does that). There can only be one great ruler, Osama and Hussein were in competition for that spot, both wanted the other eliminated and tried to get the USA to do that years ago. Russia doesn't critically need the oil, they have enough to export their excess, China desperately needs and craves oil. France, just wants to make the best deal for France anywhere, anyway, anytime. Our invading Iraq has freed the Shia there, and being backed by the Shia in Iran this has proven to be the stumbling block in trying to get a peaceful democracy up and running. Holy Places? Osama is a target, if he's found, there's a big bounty on his head, dead or alive.

You make some very good points - however, I really don't think that Osama wanted 75-80% of his al Qaeda leadership killed or captured, and I don't believe he ever envisioned the United States invading both Afghanistan and Iraq - and he damn sure doesn't EVER want to see a democracy established in this region.

He may have his objectives - but the United States also has a few that he didn't count on.

Because the Bush's are friends with the bin Laden family??
Oh, the only thing I don't agree with is Osama did NOT plan 9-11.

Whoever your source is, they need to get their facts straight. A lot of errors in there.

Also, to lump all U.S. actions over a decade into one big conclusion is silly. We act at a given time based upon the information and situation we have at that time. We can't see the future.

As they say, hindsight is 20/20. It's very easy to judge from there, isn't it.?

bin laden was right when in his letters to america (yes ive read them for myself) when he said we have no stomach for war.

he was right when he said that our country was ruled by women homosexuals and jews

what we as americans need to do, is actually read what the man said. he has declared war on us. we are at war, this is a world war(or soon will be), and we need to actually suck it up and have the balls to fight.
