The point of NOT shaving isn't to be more "feminine"...nor is it to be more like a man. It's just we are the same species...if men don't shave then what law says a female has to?? It's all cultural. Anyway...I shave, but I understand the logic begind not doing so. In fact, sometimes I skip a day (or week, haha). I think that if you say "You know I think you are super hot, I'm just curious why you don't shave?" Maybe get into an intellectual type conversation about it and see where that goes. You might get the opportunity to say "I'd really like it when your legs are smooth and shaved" or something that doesn't make her feel gross. Also...consider that you are asking her to change. How would you feel if she said, "I want you to grow a mustache cause I think Magnum P.I. is HOT"...it might sting to think you aren't already perfectly sexy the way you are now.

ok wow, like stated above? does she not shave at all???? legs, arms, and underarms included? i can see where pple are coming from when they're saying it's her choice...but wanting your gf to shave isn't a huge deal. Give her a gift certificate to a spa or some salon for a haircut/facial/WAX so you don't have to directly confront her about it. It depends how close u 2 are i suppose, but I think I would be slightly offended.

If it's her armpits, and legs, and she won't change, you may want to find yourself another girlfriend. That's just being rebeliious to society's norms and is gross. Even European women have begun shaving these areas. (And Brazilian women wax everything. But I digress about that).
If you mean her genitals, you are the one who needs an attitude adjustment. A mere trim is all that is every needed down there, not a shave.

Maybe tell her you like the look of a certain area shaved. And...you mean she won't shave her legs or armpits either? Well...I just find that a little odd. Maybe she's heard too many bad stories about shaving. For one...it doesn't make the hair grow back thicker and darker, it's a myth and you can show her here. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061203165628AA2rYbR&r=w
You could also buy her a nice electric razor for a present...kind of persuade her into shaving.

watch some porn or nude magazines with her, if you see girls that are shaved make comments like, I think this looks really hot on girls, what do you think? (don't do it to a point that you make her uncomfortable)
Or be blunt like my current boyfriend was with his ex girlfriend, he just literally told her to get rid of her bush! she got upset but ended up doing it after a while!
ps: As for ppl making comments about women from other parts of world not shaving, that's a complete false statement. Getting rid of excess hair is common all over the world and just like how some ppl don't do it here, there are women that don't do it other places as well.
In my eyes shaving is part of my hygiene. Also, I just hate excess hair on women, for those who say if women shave men have to do so as well, I say then what's the difference between men and women? If guys started doing things that women did ppl would call them gay and act all judgmental towards them! Make up your mind ppl, either you want masculine or feminine men?

I GUESS I WILL BE THE ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD WHO THINKS THIS BUT I DO BELIEVE IN SHAVING, RELIGIOUSLY. AS A WOMAN IT JUST MAKES ME FEEL MORE SEXY. IF I'M HAIRY THEN I FEEL LIKE A BEAST OR SOMETHING PLUS A MAN LIKES SMOOTH SKIN AND SO DO I. WHO CARES IF IT SOUNDS SHALLOW, IT'S THE TRUTH. I AGREE WITH ONE GUY WHO SAID ASK HER IF YOU COULD DO IT FOR HER SHE MIGHT LIKE THAT.

Why does she have to shave? Are you aware that only women in the United States shave? It's just one more barbaric thing we go through to satisfy the male perception of beauty.

I believe your girlfriend shouldn't have to shave. But tell her why you want her to shave. If she still doesn't shave then ask her if she likes you hairy. If she says yes then you say "well if you don't shave then I will because you are doing the opposite of what I like I'll do the opposite of what you like" Then see what her reaction would be if you did shave. It would make her just as dissappointed as you are right now!

Then, what is super hot about her? Especially if you think she should shave... if that is bothering you, then maybe she isn't as hot as you think. If she is a true feminist, she wouldn't be with a man.... u think?
