We would go back to what writes sucha as Locke and Hobbes called "state of nature". I would only have possesion to thing you could keep by force, and, if you agrre with Hobbes, with would be the war of all against all. Because due to the human nature you would never feel secure and you would never have enough to be better off than the others

The laws will not be abolished they will be changed to reflect the groups that gain control of the country. The liberties that have become so taken for granted will be stripped from us and the first freedom to go will be freedom to move about without permission. Next the things that make life easy will vanish as energy systems break down. The failure to defend what we have will result in its loss.

I honestly don't think there would be much affect on the surface. People generally do what they think is right. Criminals do wrong things even though the laws exist.

Does law make people behave in a certain manner? I don't think so.

I'm sure there would be a period of anarchy during which a lot of property would be damaged and lives lost but I suspect there are more good guys than bad ones and the bad ones would get "weeded out" pretty quickly. Might not be a bad idea.

i would have to say that some people are gonna go crazy and that alot of people could end up hurt...if there were no laws..the world would probably be very unsafe..and the bad guys would think that they have won...it would be like having the bad guys ruling the world...it's a very scary thought

I'd go back to sleep. When I woke up...I think I'd start getting even. Otherwise, I'd bolt down everything I own down to a very heavy object.

Crooks who believe they are above the law will still be crooks. The rest of us will still NOT be.
