Princeton is one of the most selective colleges in the country. Please check www.collegeboard.com for an idea of the SAT Score ranges for the middle 50% of admitted stuents. I'm sure your GPA has to be way up there. Don't know about ACT.

You'll want to have taken a very challenging courseload in high school, including many honors and AP courses. You'll want to have solid extracurriculars, a few that you showed passion/leadership for and in. Ideally you'd have some skill that Princeton is looking for that's outside of the obvious (e.g. some musical talent, or unusual sports skill) but that's hard to know.

You should let the school know you're interested by requesting information, visiting and taking a tour (they are more likely to extend an offer if they're pretty sure someone will accept.) Apply early if they haven't already killed early decision, for the same reason.

You should NOT get your heart set on Princeton. Even those with top-notch credentials don't get in, simply because there's more demand than spots.

Find other schools that you would like to attend and apply to them, as well. Visit them, learn about them. You'd be surprised how many great colleges there are...one of them will be just right for you!

Best of luck to you.
