I know the differences b/w the two models: Memory(obviously), Wifi, Chrome Trim, and the flash card reader(if there are anymore, please do let me know). I just need to know what each is used for. i.e. is the wifi used to play games online? or is it just to connect to the PSP? I want to know what kind of thing. Thanks

HDMI is available in both versions.

Wi-fi is for online and stuff. If you don't have a wireless router, you can just use an ethernet connection or better yet, use someone else's unlocked access point. It's also used to connect to the PSP, but it's probably going to go in the way of the Gamecube and the GBA: Few games are going to use it.

Flashcard, SD, etc. Just for saving games, and when you want to take the data to your friends house. Also can be used to download pictures from the PC and upload it to the PS3's hard drive. You can also use the MemoryStick to view pictures that you took with a Sony digital camera.

Chrome trim just makes it look cooler. It's to differentiate the difference between the 20 and 60 gb, much like the chrome tray to differentiate between the 360 core and 360 premium (oh no, Sony copied again).

Wifi is used to play games online, download demos, browse the web etc.

HDMI plug-ins (which enhance picture quality with a HDTV) are also only available on the 60gb version..

I don't see why anyone would get the 20gb. The 60gb in the long run is the better choice.
