here is a dynamite one....
Industry is importing foreign educated technicians because our educational system is not producing them. When a foreigner legally immigrates to the US, he or she is required to take a test to become a citizen. That test is all about social studies, our government, and how it works. So.....
Why doesn't our system provide the educated workers that industry needs? Why go to India to get them for example?
Why don't high school students have to take the same test that legal immigrants are required to take?
So who is the better citizen? The talented and educated legal immigrant who has studied and passed the social studies requirements for citizenship or the person with a birthright that probably is not trained and cannot pass the test?
