your doctor should have told you this... The pill is not effective until a full month of taking it. The pill is not 100% effective anyway so wear a condom regardless... Better yet, don't have sex... Do you really need it? lol

Birth control pills are the most effective means but neither are they 100% foolproof- in preventing pregnancy. Any fluid from the male entering the vagina can cause a pregnancy. Discuss with your doctor also the morning after pill it may be more accurate am not 100% sure why these kind of questions should be directed to expert-your gynocologist.

you know that even with birth control pills there is still a chance you can get pregnant right? It's okay, but children have been conceived while the woman was taking the pill. Wait until you have taken at least one month's worth of pills. And even then, be knowledgable about this stuff.

Nothings 100%, but the pill is pretty damn close, as long as you're taking it properly. I imagine after a month or so, maybe even a few weeks, your body has adjusted to the pill enough to keep you prenancy free. I would'nt quote me on it, this is just coming from what I've gathered in life knowledge. As embarassing as it can be, ask your doc if you want the straight up facts, they're the professionals.

I would ask your doctor cause it depends on your birth control and the pill doesn't prevent aganst STD and the pill doesn't always work so just have the guy wear a condom!!!!!!! To be safe but keep in mind a condom doesn't always work.

yes, I think so. personality I like the depo shot. the first time I got the shot I asked the doc when I coud safely have sex and she said as soon as I got home. I'm not sure of the % of the pill, but no birth control (except not having sex) is 100%

use an alt. method of BC (like condoms) for about a couple more weeks then you should be fine. I've been on the patch and haven't use any other form of BC and have been fine. i've been on it for almost 3 yrs. and haven't had a problem yet. but all body's are different, so i'd say wait and don't smoke while on the pill b/c it reduces it's affect. hope i was of help :)

A condom CAN artwork on my own, inspite of the undeniable fact that it does not artwork each time. Condoms can slip off or wreck...it quite is oftentimes sturdy to be on the tablet as a returned-up. So no, it quite is not needed, inspite of the undeniable fact that it quite is an somewhat sturdy concept. :) and don't situation approximately soliciting for it on the keep, you're no longer the only one your age it quite is on the tablet. to boot, what's it remember what the clerk thinks of you? you will probable purely see them once you bypass in that keep, besides. :P

It should be ok, but you should still have the guy wear a condom to prevent getting any diseases & as extra protection against pregnancy. If you're not taking your bc correctly or are taking antibiotics, you could get pregnant.

You're supposed to still use a secondary form of birth control for the first month but nothing is 100% except abstinence!
