"A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey, about a guy recovering from drug-addiction... Oprah loved it, chose it for her book club, and then later found out that part of the memoir was fabricated.

"Go Ask Alice" is delightfully cheesy and really got me more interested in trying drugs than it deterred me.
For the real deal, there's always "The Electric Koolaid Acid Test."
In the what-a-trippy-book-the-author-must've-been-high category (including books with drug-using characters) there's:

anything by hunter s thompson, his books are pretty expensive even at secondhand stores but they are very good.
