I would say that Pop Up would just be an advertisement trying to get you to purchase their product and therefore not true, unless you consented (i.e went on a website, clicked on scan my computer) to a website scanning your computer
.
However if you want to clear your browsing history, go into control panel, double click on “Internet Options”, if you are using Internet Explorer, under "Browsing History" click “Delete”, then click "Delete All" and all your browsing history will be deleted. However, you will have to re-enter all your passwords and usernames into websites when you log in again, as this will remove the file that remembers these.

I would also recommend downloading Spy Bot Serch and Destroy http://www.spybot.info/en/mirrors/index.html , and Ad Aware http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5 and scan for spyware.

You can clean your tracks manually but porn sites have some nasty Malware, Spyware etc. that infects your pc. So, you first need to clean your browser. Tools, Properties, Browsing History, Delete all cookies, history and files. Then you need a virus program that is free of charge like AVast(Google it) and/or Trend Microonline virus scan. Then you can use adware and spyware removal tools like Spybot - Search and Destroy 1.4 (Free). Go to www.cnet.com Choose Downloads, Type Spybot, and there will be a link for the download. If it still does it then you have to find the tread and Google the virus to see how to remove manually. Otherwise, backup data, scan data on another PC. Format Laptop with new install. Last resource.

Popup blockers will only stop web based popups. They can help somewhat, but if you are getting excessive popups, and popups even when you are offline, it means you have trojan downloaders on your machine that are calling out to deliver the pop up ads.

Try a full cleaning and dis-infection routine. (All is free)

This is the one I use (it will take some time).

1. Scan for virus and remove (free online scan) with BitDefender

http://www.bitdefender.com/site/home/

2. Scan for trojans and remove (free online scan) with Ewido

http://www.ewido.net/en/

3. Scan for ad/spyware and remove (free download) with Spybot Search & Destroy

And the window that said your computer visited porno is simply an advertising scam. A computer cannot tell the difference between a porno site and Disney.com. That is simply impossable.

it will be $15 at suited purchase, yet you get what you pay for. Monster* reveal screen purifier comes with a microfiber textile and is with the aid of a procedures the suited element i have ever used. I fantastically advise it. it is also a gel-like fluid, yet would not leave a residue. You under no circumstances ought to rigidity about it operating down into the device. The above innovations sound great, yet keep in ideas - going adversarial to manufacture suggestion voids a guaranty. in the experience that they see that a reveal reveal screen change into ruined with the aid of utilising something that wasn't made for it - you're out all that funds. wish that helped!

It's spyware for sure. The "cleanout computer" is likely scamware, it's spyware tricked to get you to buy their product which likely adds more spyware.

You can always backup your data and reformat your computer and re-install Windows. Removing all of the spyware correctly is tricky business and may require a skilled tech (sadly this involves $$$)

It depends on the spyware app though, run HiJackThis and post a log, it might help.

Search for upgrades and analize your laptop. Delete every thing it finds.

Yeah, there's lots of free antisypware software, you just have to make sure it's real and not some crappy adware. Go to download.com for reliable recommendations. I've used Avast for years and it works great... plus it's free for home users!
