T-Ray: i agree with u,but 16 teams would mean 8 more games, that is 4 more for the team that wins(if my math is right).that is about a 16 game schedule, right to the end of january allmost.that is a lomg season for 2 teams.

Everyone knows the BCS is screwed up. But all our getting is alot of disgruntled fans. If Michigan would have got in you would be hearing Florida's fans but the two in the championship are the right choices for the way this system is set up. Now I'm with you I would like to see a playoff system that would have the top 16 teams and let them battle it out until the best one is standing but I doubt we will ever see that. But maybe the could do the top 8 and use the point system but still your going to have complaints about it. But anything would be better than what they have now. There has been to many problems with it I say enough is enough.

Ohio State versus Florida - It's going to be a battle from start to finish. Best game of the year. No way should Michigan play Ohio State, they lost to them once already. No second chance. Football unlike baseball, basketball, and hocky, is tiring. The teams could only play once a week, if it's playoffs maybe once every two weeks, since football is more bruising and painful than other sports. More injuries could happen if they were playoffs. I think the BCS has eight teams. Not sure of all eight, but I know Boise State, LSU, and Southern Cal, West Virginia, are the others I think.

I think you take the top 8 from an average of existing polls. 8 teams would mean that the teams going to the championship would play a total of 3 more games than their regular schedule.
