I am looking to make my grandma a handbeaded eyeglasses cord...the kind that keep your glasses around your neck.

Any ideas or advice. Do i buy the little plastic loop ends or do i buy a cheap one and just take off the ends. any cute ideas??

Check out the eyeglass "leashes" on this page which also use beads or polymer clay, for some cute ideas too:

(... click on the subcategory called "Leashes for Eyeglasses")

I know she'll love to have something like that, or several of them in different colors or styles!

You should be able to find the little loops at a craft store. A word of advice on stringing--use a very sturdy thread (waxed linen is awesome) and make sure you knot each bead. This will ensure the strength of the cord, so she won't have to worry about losing her specs.
