I know gemstones are used for healing, but what's the difference between gemstones that are reiki charged and ones that are not?

My neighbor was a Reiki healer. She still is, she's just not my neighbor anymore. Anyhow, she told me about it - I can't remember it all but it was something about how the Reiki healer pulls the energy of the earth into your body, directing it to the different parts of the body through their touch. I think it is something along the lines of any faith-healing process - if you believe it'll work, it'll work.. if you think its a bunch of hooey, it won't bother you one way or the other. Its your faith that heals you (power of positive thinking), at least that's what I believe.

If Reiki scares you so much, don't wear the jewelry.
Reiki is nothing more than Universal Life Energy. It is not evil.
By charging a gemstone or jewelry with Reiki, someone is trying to make that item send out positive healing energies.
Anyone who says that Universal Life Energy is of the devil or evil is ignorant.

Reiki is supposed to be healing but frankly any of these new age things are of the devil. They are a tool to take the attention away from God. Gemstones do not heal. Only Jesus heals.

If you think the devil is lurking around the corner, he probably is.

If you like a gemstone, wear it. Don't let some bible thumper tell you want to wear. Don't even ask whether it's charged, do you think someone else has control over you? If you do, no necklace is your problem.

The only difference is the extra money some con-artist will try and charge the next gullible customer.
